| As a valued member of our community, welcome to InterSystems Insights UK & Ireland quarterly newsletter, first of 2021.
In this issue we share some of the exciting work InterSystems is doing around the COVID-19 vaccination booking system, one of the largest administrative operations many health services have ever had to undertake. Created in response to the overwhelming demand, InterSystems worked with key clients to design a solution which automates the booking of appointments, saving health services significant time and cost.
We are also pleased to annouce that InterSystems IRIS data platform and InterSystems IRIS for Health are now available as a fully managed services for Amazon Web Services (AWS). Alongside this InterSystems IRIS data platform is now available on AWS Quick Start to rapidly deploy highly available production environments on AWS. These latest offering demonstrate InterSystems continued commitment to providing a concierge level of managed services to our customers, with cloud provisioning and maintaining secure, scalable, and performant environments on the AWS cloud.
In a recent blog, our UK&I Managing Director, Chris Norton, highlighted the importance of enabling more coordinated transfer of care for patients and how using a unified solution like HealthShare Care Community has the potential to truly transform the way the NHS delivers care beyond the hospital walls. InterSystems are also proud to share that KLAS Research has honoured InterSystems TrakCare and HealthShare Unified Care Record for exceptional work and customer satisfaction.
